The identity of ASEAN Community in the past

ASEAN Community 2015 integrate the Southeast Asian region in 2015. ASEAN Community as a whole society which has three pillars, namely the political, economic and socio-cultural. Politics is just pillar involves G2G (Government to Government). Economic pillar involves B2B (Bussiness to Bussiness). The socio-cultural pillar involves the People to People (P2P). People to People is a community that should be involved in developing the ASEAN region.
Looking at the past history of Southeast Asia, ASEAN has a close relation in social and cultural terms. The development of Islam in Indonesia in the past influenced by the role of the Muslim Pattani, Thailand. As we know in the history of Indonesia, at the time of King Brawijaya V, the last king of Majapahit had a close relationship with the daughter of Champa. Majapahit also cooperating scholars of Champa, Thailand to expand Islam in Ampel Surabaya. It became evident that the Southeast Asian community has existed since the 15th century.

Beyond that, Java is also influenced by China. The development of Islam in Java was also influenced by Islam in the Chinese territory.
