North Korea: a Short History of Korea War

Korean War occurred from 1950 to 1953. It was a conflict between North Korea and South Korea. South Korea is a major ally of the United States, Canada, Australia, and Great Britain, although many other nations sent troops under the UN flag.
North Korean allies, namely China, providing military forces, while the Soviet Union which provides advisory war and pilots, as well as weapons, to the Chinese and North Korean forces. United States called a police action under the UN flag.
The two countries differ in ideology and politics and an imaginary line separated only 38 ˚.
June 25, 1950 - launched artillery, tanks and infantry troops started attacking North Korea South Korea.
January 4, 1951 - North Korean soldiers who helped China successfully mastered Seoul.
July 27, 1953 - United States, the PRC, and North Korea signed an armistice agreement. South Korea's current president, Seungman Rhee, refused to sign it but promised to respect the ceasefire agreement. Officially, the war has not ended to this day.
The 1950-1953 war ended without a win, but casualties from both sides.
Since the 1950-1953 war, North Korea and South Korea have never had an open and total war, there is only a series of limited war. Although both countries have the support of big countries like the United States and Russia, still the war never happened and the scale and intensity of the massif. Many observers say that war between the two countries is Proxy war siblings, or a war that did not involve the main strength of the United States and the Soviet Union.
