ASEAN Blogger Community, a community of bloggers Southeast
Asia that aims to support the ASEAN integration process of ASEAN Community
2015. ASEAN Blogger Community has held its first conference in Bali on November
16, 2011, which emphasizes the importance of social media to campaign for the
ASEAN Community 2015. Bloggers role in providing information and share anything
that aims to build the ASEAN Community.
In 2013, ASEAN Blogger Community held a meeting entitled
ASEAN Blogger Festival #ABF2013. This activity is centered in the city of Solo.
One reason for the election of the city of Solo, because it has significant
attention to cultural heritage.
Puppet, keris, batik and Sangiran the homeland of Java Man were
among the World Heritage Sites. All of which can be found in the city of Solo.
In addition we can learn the history and heritage of the past with the splendor
of Surakarta Palace, Mangkunegaran Palace, Sukuh Temple, Sangiran Hominid sites,
Kampung Batik (Batik Villages) and others.
ASEAN Blogger Festival which takes the theme of cultural
heritage is appropriate. I am very interested in following the Festival Blogger
who took this theme. The election of the host city of Solo as very important.
It can aim to introduce the city of Solo, in which cultural heritage, as well
as great attention to the culture by the Government of Solo City.
I am interested to participate in the ASEAN Blogger Festival
is simply because the selection of an appropriate theme. Also because of the
desire to share information related to cultural heritage. As a blogger who
concentrated on education, serve to convey important messages related to
cultural heritage. Appreciate the importance of cultural heritage to the
younger generation needs to be submitted. In order for them to know their
cultural heritage, and have attention to culture. Especially at this time, global

The role of ASEAN as a single identity, to preserve the
identity and the culture in the global competition. ASEAN has a vision can
together build a regional power, enhance cooperation as ideals to realize the
ASEAN integration. As a community, ASEAN has three pillars there are political,
economic and socio-cultural. ASEAN Community 2015 emphasized the three pillars.
In the field of politics, ASEAN has an important role to
improve regional security. Cooperation between countries can be built to create
a force that can maintain the security of its own territory.
In the economic field, the ASEAN community to enhance
economic cooperation. This can be done by strengthening the ASEAN economic
conditions in the global economy. ASEAN economic community to encourage ASEAN economic
independence. Indonesia has been proven as one of the countries with good
economic growth. In the midst of the global crisis in 2008, Indonesia became a
country that is not affected. It is a hope that the ASEAN economies are able to
build resilient communities and have independence.
ASEAN Community is often compared to the successful
integration of the European Union. As we all know, that the EU succeeded in
uniting economy with the euro currency. However, the success of EU integration
was tested when global crisis of 2008, which makes several countries in the
europe slumped. The economic conditions of some European countries, such as
Greece, Spain and Italy reportedly deteriorating.
However, the ASEAN Community with three pillars has
advantages in terms of independence. ASEAN can achieve economic independence,
political independence and cultural autonomy. Moreover, ASEAN has advantages in
the field of social and cultural heritage are always welcome.
